“The Healing Circle for me has been a valuable outlet and reflective space.
To hear others share their experiences, and be in a safe space to share mine was very restorative and helpful in 2025. In this difficult political climate, as clinicians, I think we often under recognize the power of self care; and giving myself the time and space to be with others who care has been really important to me. I hope the healing circle remains active, with even more participants this year. I really enjoy the collaboration and sharing that occurs there.
Thank you Jose and Becky for championing this initiative.”

“Thank you for the opportunity to participate in the healing Circle. It has been a wonderful resource to unburden myself of the negative energy I have absorbed from the news and from working continuously with distressed clients. I rely on ways to periodically purge myself of this build up, and sharing and having others share in return has been a valuable way to renew and strengthen my resilience.”

“Participating in the NJAMFT Healing Circles has been an incredibly grounding and supportive experience. In the midst of a highly distressing political climate, the group has provided a genuinely safe and thoughtful holding space to process both the personal and professional impact of this moment. As a therapist, navigating my own reactions while supporting clients can feel isolating at times, and this space has helped me feel connected, validated, and resourced. I am deeply grateful, and I leave each session feeling less alone and more grounded.”
